Thail living, 2006....

I had a same same but different day sweating in the heat
Happy happy you ok, a life you cannot not beat
Thinking back to a former time when the world was big and far
Its really not so big and really not so far
All life here everyday trying to live a dream
Young and old, rich and poor but its a constant theme

I am having fun and exploring life and all it has to offer
Would I go back to where I once was?, no to the other

I think and feel part of me will always be away
Thinking cool and being hot in a distant land today
So when I am back in the life I left being asked about my day
Same Same but different I reply in a thai kind of way

The looks I'll get, the nods of shame as people walk away
But you and I know its true

Same same but different is every day
